After receiving critical acclaim for its vintage emporiums in Sunday Times Style and Vogue Online, Barnardo's opened one of it's pop up shops at 65-67 Broadwick Street, London for the Christmas period.

The theme of this year's boutique, visited by Heather Small, was 80's glitz and glam and the store was bursting with shoulder pads, sequins and spandex.

Barnardo's celebrity supporters have donated a selection of spangly 80’s favourites from their personal wardrobes, which were sold in the store. Joan Collins donated one of the outfits belonging to her alter ego Alexis from iconic 80's TV show, Dynasty - complete with skirt, blouse and turban. Songstress La Roux donated two shoulder pad-tastic 80's jackets and Dame Shirley Bassey a pair of diamante encrusted Yves Saint Laurent heels, as pictured.

Other celebrity donations include a dress from Alesha Dixon, a pair of shoes from Rachel Stevens, a pair of Miu Miu boots from model Laura Bailey and a suit from Julian Clary.

Retro retailer and fans of the 80’s vibe, American Apparel dressed the shop windows, with one window following a total 80's theme, filled with donations from 80's Pop icons including Carol Decker and Lisa Stansfield.
