Another journey for Boorman
It was a slightly shorter journey than usual for biker and TV Personality Charley Boorman this month as he rode to West London to collect money raised by Renault Retail Group during their recent Barnardo's fundraising campaign.
Charley picked up £10,000 made by encouraging customers and staff to sign a giant Christmas card and give a donation to Barnardo's.
Charley said: 'Thank you to everyone who took time out of their Christmas to pop into the dealership to sign the giant card. The money will be used locally to support Barnardo’s essential services, which provide a practical response to problems like abuse, poverty, homelessness and the challenges of disability.'
