Celebrity cashiers volunteer for Barnardo’s

A host of celebrities including singer Heather Small, model and writer Laura Bailey, TV presenter and fashion stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones, and Olympic swimmer Mark Foster, gave up their day jobs to work the tills of Barnardo's 'pop-up' vintage boutique in Carnaby Street.
The celebrities donated their time to encourage more people to volunteer for their local Barnardo’s shop. Model Laura Bailey explains:
The Carnaby Street Barnardo’s is one of my favourite vintage stores in London and working the tills for the day sounds like great fun. However there is an important message here, Barnardo’s urgently needs 750 retail volunteers and I would encourage anyone with a little time to spare to get involved.
The trendy Soho store has already attracted a number of celebrity shoppers. Joanna Lumley, Gok Wan, Sarah Cawood, Gary Lineker and fiancée Danielle Bux have all been spotted in this vintage shopping emporium, snapping up everything from vintage Jaeger to Chanel.
A change of clothes can turn the unwanted items in your wardrobe into valuable money to help vulnerable children. Find out how you can donate goods to a Barnardo's store near you.
