The Wheel Deal
Lynda Bellingham has taken time out from her hectic schedule for a number of Barnardo’s visits recently. The actress, who has been appearing in the stage production of Calendar Girls, spent a day at our Black Country Wheels project near Stourbridge, meeting some of the young people who are gaining mechanical skills through the project.
Linda said:
"I have been really looking forward to visiting the Wheels project for a while now. It’s a fantastic project and everyone should be really proud of what they’re achieving here."
While she was in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle, Lynda, a Barnardo’s ambassador, also attended a number of charity lunches, where she spoke about her involvement with Barnardo’s over the past 20 years.
