Onto independence

Onto independence placements are permanent fostering placements made with professional fee paid foster carers. They are primarily designed for children and young people aged 10 plus, for whom a stable long-term placement is sought. The carers are bridge carers, offering the opportunity of permanence to children who have had the difficulty settling in previous placements.
