Our arts project

Over the past couple of months some young people, assisted by White Space, a local arts project, have been working together to create a mural on the pool table cover.

For around six weeks three young people assisted by Whitespace, worked hard on producing an original mural which took in the sites of Aberdeen and images important to young people.  

The young people had the opportunity to work with a number of different media including, spray painting, stencilling, photography and computer art.  

We would like to thank White Space for their help, particularly with advice about creating a mural and with letting us have the proper equipment. The mural should be completed in the near future and hopefully everyone who comes into the Activities Room will enjoy it.
