Volunteering

We have a team of volunteers that support the work of our project.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer with us if you are 16 and over.
Volunteers join us by dropping into the centre, contacting us via the telephone, applying online, and approaching us at various events throughout Neath Port Talbot (NPT). Whatever a volunteer’s role is in the project, we aim to provide training and support that ensures they get the most out of what they are doing. We work with our volunteers to make sure they find their experiences interesting and rewarding.
What will I get?
We support and train our volunteers to enable them to fulfill their volunteering tasks. We recognise the achievement of those who participate by awarding them with certificates and awards.
“I didn’t realise how much support Neath Port Talbot Partnership offers, to families in all situations – being a volunteer made me aware it’s not just charity shops - there is a lot more to Barnardo’s”
Gareth, volunteer
