To round off a thriving creative arts curriculum, students can play and perform music. Music is an important part of school productions, pantomimes and prize giving ceremonies. It helps build the confidence of performers and performances are always greeted by loud applause from parents, carers and visitors.

The Jonas Foundation

The Jonas Foundation has funded a music project at Meadows School over the last 12 years. The Jonas Foundation UK provides Peter Rayner to teach cello lessons to students on a weekly basis, for which the school is very grateful.

Meadows School has also built up links with local schools and the London Chamber Orchestra, with students taking part in workshops, musical activities and ultimately concerts in London. They even came in to school and entertained students and staff alike with a 'musical lunch'!
