Music
To round off a thriving creative arts curriculum pupils can play and perform music. Music is an important part of school productions, pantomimes and prize giving ceremonies. It helps build the confidence of performers and performances are always greeted by loud applause from parents, carers and visitors.
A visiting instrumental teacher offers popular weekly sessions where there is the chance to work towards grade one in cello. An ex’ member of the band “Wizard,” also coaches pupils in percussion and drumming. Students can also play drums and guitar.
The basis of pupils’ good achievements is their outstanding personal development - Ofsted Education Report 2008.
