Barnardo’s Marlborough Road Partnership
Barnardo’s Marlborough Road Partnership provides a range of services for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people aged 16 - 21 in Cardiff and Newport. The partnership is one of six services across Wales, offering support to vulnerable 14 – 25 year olds.
All our services aim to help vulnerable and disadvantaged young people gain the necessary skills, knowledge and awareness in order that they can live more independently as citizens within their communities.
Underpinning our work are the following values:
- that children and young people have fundamental human rights, which will be respected through our work
- that young people have responsibilities, which they will be encouraged to assume through our work
- that the personal welfare and safety of children and young people who use the services is paramount and will be central to our work
- that equality and the valuing of difference will be promoted through our work.
We will always listen to what a young person tells us.
