Barnardo’s website linking policy
The term Barnardo’s websites is used to include any web based material situated on the Barnardo’s server including, but not exclusively, any website produced by a Barnardo’s project, www.barnardos.org.uk, www.barnardos.com, www.bigtoddle.co.uk)
Linking to a Barnardo’s website
Barnardo’s is happy for any website to link to Barnardo’s. However we
retain the right to withdraw this permission without explanation or notice if we judge the link or website
to be inappropriate.
The link should not infer endorsement by Barnardo’s and should only
be text based. If you would like to request permission to use the Barnardo’s logo with the link or would
like some explanatory text please email the New Media Team at webmaster@barnardos.org.uk.
Links from a Barnardo’s website
Any link request should be made through the New Media Team by emailing webmaster@barnardos.org.uk. All requests are carefully considered and evaluated against an agreed criteria. We reserve the right to refuse any link request without condition and to change this criteria without notice.
- the website must be either a registered charity, government agency or not for profit organisation
- if the website is of a commercial nature, the company must be a corporate partner of significant benefit to Barnardo’s and have worked to form an agreement with our Corporate or Retail teams
- the website must relate directly to the work of Barnardo’s
- Barnardo’s regrets it cannot link to individual or personal websites
Links
to third party websites are not under the control of Barnardo’s and are provided only for convenience.
Barnardo’s takes no responsibility for content on third party websites and visitors access them at their
own risk.
Any agreed request for a link from the Barnardo’s website would require a reciprocal
link form that organisation’s website.
