What we expect of young people

Whatever your problem, whoever you are or no matter how you are feeling, we will expect you at all times to:

try to sort out your problems by discussion
not to be violent, verbally or physically
not to make personal or hurtful comments, or intimidate other people
not to behave in a racist, sexist or anti lesbian or gay fashion
treat our workers with respect - don’t put them in compromising situations like carrying on any criminal or illegal behaviour in front of them, being drunk or using illegal drugs in their presence
try to be in when we’ve made an appointment to come and see you, or let us know beforehand if you can’t make it
remember our Workers are each involved with a number of young people, not just you and therefore may not always be able to deal with you first. - be patient!
