Education, employment and training

Once you've finished year 11 and left school, you have three basic choices:

  • get a job
  • do a youth training careership or apprenticeship
  • go to Sixth Form College or Further Education

You can do these full or part time, and you may want to combine them eg. work and study part-time.

Remember though it is never too late to get back into education, which besides giving you a better chance in life, can also build your confidence, give you a chance to meet friends and have fun.
