Mission Statement

Barnardo's Inverclyde Family Support Team aims to make a difference to the lives of disabled children, young people and their families by

AIMS

  • Providing and sustaining a range of resources throughout Inverclyde for disabled children, young people and their families
  • Working in partnership with parents, children and young people, volunteers and other agencies
  • Developing opportunitites for volunteering within Barnardo's and the Project
  • Encouraging and enhancing the emotional health and well-being of everyone with whom we work
  • Working with a positive attitude towards the disability by developing equal opportunities for disabled children and young people

OUTCOMES

Physical and emotional health

Keeping safe from harm

  • Disabled children and young people have an awareness of and knowledge about sexual issues, boundaries, sexuality and personal safety

Inverclyde Family Support Team works alongside a range of agencies to provide our services.
