Child protection policy

‘Safety first’ is the child protection maxim of High Close School and, as such, we have a clear policy to ensure that the safety of all pupils at the school remains our top priority.

As a Barnardo’s school, we adhere to the children’s charity’s child protection policy and procedures, as well as those of the local authorities of our various pupils.

We hope our approach to child protection ensures we receive and maintain the trust and respect of children, parents/carers and the local authorities. Where appropriate, we also work with and support parents.
