Anti-bullying policy

Whether it’s physical, emotional or verbal, bullying can have a very negative impact on the well-being and growth of a child, which is why it is taken very seriously at High Close School.

Talking to pupils

We decided one of best ways to combat bullying was to talk to our pupils and find out what they think would help to prevent it from happening and what should be done if it does occur, which has led to the creation of an effective anti bullying charter.

Talking to parents and carers

We are committed to providing a caring environment for all our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and safe atmosphere, but parents, carers and families have an important role to play in helping us deal with bullying.

If there are any concerns that a child is being bullied at the school then they should not hesitate to contact us.
