Student Event Fundraisers
Are you considering a career in events but don’t have the experience? Do you want to gain valuable experience in the charity sector? Do you want to organise events to help alleviate child poverty?
We are looking for creative, energetic and organised students from universities and colleges around the UK to volunteer in groups as Student Event Fundraisers for Barnardo's.
As a group we would like you to run at least 2 fundraising activities over the academic year with the aim of raising at least £700 to help continue our work with children and young people.These can be whatever you want, from a film night to a speed dating event, a fashion show to a 5-a-side football tournament.
What's in it for you?
You will receive full training and all the support and resources you need to run a successful event from your local Student Programme Officer.
Not only will this role look fantastic when applying for jobs, it is also endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and all Barnardo’s Student Event Fundraisers will have the opportunity to work towards the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Career Development Award.
