Student Brand Managers
Do you want a career in branding, marketing and campaigning? Are you interested in gaining a valuable understanding of the charity sector? Do you want to help improve the lives of thousands of children and young people in the UK?
We are looking for inventive, determined and socially aware students from universities or colleges around the UK to volunteer as Student Brand Managers to help raise the profile of Barnardo’s amongst the students at their institute.
Working on your own, or as part of a group, you will have the chance to get involved in fun campaigning and awareness raising activities, marketing, market research, lobbying, and much more! These could include writing articles for your student media, creating large visual demonstrations on campus, getting students to sign petitions or organising meetings with your local MP’s to highlight Barnardo’s campaigns.
What's in it for you?
You will receive a full induction and your local Student Programme Officer will help you in your campaigning activities, looking at promotion and publicity, and raising the profile of Barnardo’s within your university or college.
Not only will this role look fantastic on your CV, it is also endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and all Barnardo’s Brand Managers will have the opportunity to work towards the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Career Development Award.
