The Supporter Services Department

The Supporter Services Department is responsible for the processing and reconciliation of Barnardo’s voluntary income. It is also responsible for supporter care, making sure that Fundraising and Marketing are kept abreast of UK data protection regulations and associated regulations related to supporter care, and participating in advisory groups.

Supporter donations are responsible for

•processing of all regular gifts e.g. direct debits and standing orders, for BACS compliance and regulations, gift aid compliance and processing claims

•processing of all income from campaigns in the four nations- this includes workplace giving, education, community fundraising and events

•processing income from direct marketing campaigns, H2H Lottery, collection boxes and all ad hoc donations.

Supporter care are responsible for

•handling all Fundraising and Marketing enquiries and complaints

•maintenance of the supporter views database, and reporting

•handling all telephone donation requests.
