The Scheme provides you with the unique opportunity to experience running a business enterprise. It’s a great way of getting all the skills and know-how while helping other young people at the same time.
Barnardo’s provides £120 start-up capital for each school accepted into the scheme. Each team or company then has to put their business idea into practice, with the aim of making £500 net profit.
At the end, you return the capital to Barnardo’s and the profit to help children across the UK. If you reach your target your school can keep 25% of the net profit. It’s an idea that would have the Dragons nodding their heads in approval.
