Please join our ongoing campaign to make payday last a lifetime. Workplace giving is regular giving, meaning a consistent supply of funds. Because Barnardo’s helps children over the long term, consistent income is our lifeblood.
Tens of thousands of employees throughout the UK regularly donate to Barnardo’s through their pay, including those working for Royal Mail, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Weetabix Ltd, Stagecoach and Lindsay Cars (NI). Thank you to everyone who supports Barnardo’s in this way.
Barnardo’s is proud to support the Geared for Giving campaign, which aims to raise the profile of workplace giving on the political and business agenda and introduce the scheme to one million more employees.
Two different schemes to suit your needs:
1. Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a HM Customs & Revenue Scheme that enables your employees to donate tax free through their pay. More than 10,000 UK employers currently operate the scheme and if you don’t yet, Payroll Giving has barely any set-up costs and is easy to administer, while helping meet your corporate social responsibility objectives.
2. Winners Club
A workplace lottery unique to Barnardo’s. From just £1 per week, your employees donate directly through their pay with the chance to win a quarterly cash prize.
