Charmin is supporting Barnardo’s as part of the Charmin Family of the Year Competition 2008
With nearly 400 community projects, Barnardo’s helps all kinds of families to cope with a wide range of issues including poverty, abuse, and homelessness. We work with them to create a setting where children and young people are nurtured and valued and where they can experience a sense of belonging. Through its Family of the Year 2008 competition, Charmin is looking for a ‘family’, in its broadest sense, who enjoy spending time together and who are an inspiration to us all. You can nominate your family or a family you know. The winning family will win an active holiday to France, with three runners up winning a break in Wales.
For every entry to the competition, Charmin will donate £1 per entry to Barnardo's. So, not only will you have the chance to win a fantastic holiday, your entry will help fund Barnardo’s vital work with children and their families across the UK.
We’re delighted to be associated with Charmin which is actively encouraging children, young people and families to spend more time together. Here at Barnardo’s it’s important to stress that we also work with children and young people who don’t have families as well as children who are homeless or living away from home. By working with Charmin we want to give everyone the chance to celebrate all forms of family life and being together as part of a group of people who share their daily lives.
