Campaign success stories

Our campaigning over the past year has led to:

  • a government announcement that a specific minister will be responsible for the issue of protecting children from sexual exploitation
  • increased support for all those waiting for a decision on their asylum claim
  • high prominence given to child poverty and youth unemployment in all 3 main parties political manifestos.

Campaigning makes a difference. It's a really effective way to influence politicans and raise awareness of issues affecting children across the UK.

Barnardo's campaigners help to transform the lives of children and young people. Sign up to be a Barnardo's campaigner and be the first to know about our latest campaigns.
