Barnardo’s Fresh Start is an exciting hands-on activity for children of primary school age. It’s all about being creative with your breakfast and using your gourmet skills to fundraise for Barnardo’s. It’s easy to do and lots of fun to take part, so why not get your class involved?
How it works
- Register to join our culinary challenge.
- You will receive a confirmation email with a downloadable activity pack.
- Get the class to discuss their favourite healthy breakfast foods and ask them to come up with their ideal recipes for breakfast.
- Ask the children to bring in an ingredient to make their chosen breakfast recipes and an agreed sum that will go into a fundraising kitty.
- Once the ingredients are collected, the children in groups will make the breakfast and then enjoy it together.
