Barnardo's North East Family Placement

The service has been successfully placing children with families for over 30 years. Our team has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in fostering, adoption and support care.

We offer a wide range of family placement services including:

  • short term fostering
  • long term fostering
  • therapeutic foster care
  • adoption
  • short break care
  • parent and child placement.

As a service we have a successful history in finding foster carers and adoptive parents for children and young people who are considered hard to place, for example disabled children and those with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.
