Join our team

To assist us in our work, we need to recruit a broad range of carers from across the East Midlands. We recognise the importance of introductions for children and foster carers to ensure that the placement is successful.

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming a carer or would like more information. Please feel free to contact us for an informal discussion.

Please visit the glossary for definitions of carer and support worker roles.

Long term foster carers

We need to recruit foster carers from a wide range of ethnic and religious backgrounds across the East Midlands to provide placements ranging from a few weeks to several months or years.

Working as part of a committed and experienced team, you will receive an excellent package of support, which includes:

  • comprehensive training and specialist advice
  • one-to-one and group support
  • a fostering allowance and professional fee.

Short break carers

We need to recruit short break carers who can offer the occasional few hours to several days a month. Short break carers are an important part of our service, providing essential support to the long term carers and new opportunities to children and young people.

If you live in the East Midlands area and would like to work as part of an experienced team, we will provide the following support:

  • comprehensive training and specialist advice
  • one-to-one and group support
  • a fostering allowance.
