Q. How often and when will you be visiting?

A. You and your keyworker will decide together on what you both think is sufficient and what fits in with your family circumstances.

Q. I already have lots of professionals involved with my family, will you just be adding to the number?

A. Our role is not to duplicate or add to what others do.  We hope that by working along with you and the relevant professionals, we can plan together to ensure that the services provided are well coordinated and fit in with your family’s life. We can, if you wish act as a single point of contact for you and the professionals involved with your family.

Q. Can you organise appointments or respite or day-care?

A. We don’t provide services i.e. respite etc. but we can try and help you find out more and perhaps avail of such services. We can help you to organise appointments, send you reminders and help organise day-care provision for your whole family.

Q. Can you write letters or fill in forms on our behalf?

A. Yes, we will work with you to write what you want to say and help you apply for benefits, grants etc.

Q. Who will have access to the information that I am giving you?

A. The Family Keyworking team and professionals you have consented to.

Q. What if I have something to say?

A. Parents, children and young people who use the service will be encouraged to contribute to its development through regular feedback or by direct involvement in the planning and review process.
