Barnardo's Family Keyworker Service

Barnardo's Family Keyworker Service caters for children with complex disabilities and healthcare needs and their families within the Foyle Trust area, which includes Dungiven, Limavady, Derry/Londonderry, Strabane and the surrounding areas.

Who is the service for?

The service is for families of disabled children who

are aged between 0-18 years
live in the Foyle Trust area
receive at least two specialist services or therapies to meet their needs.

If you think this service is for you, talk to any of these people:

Child Development Clinic (CDC) / Little Acorns
the physical disability team
a health visitor
the learning disability team
a community children’s nurse, who will help you to fill in a referral form
alternatively you can refer yourself by contacting us at our office and we will be happy to help.

We will then arrange for a keyworker to visit your home at a time and date that will suit you to introduce themselves and discuss with you what sort of help and support you require.
