Barnardo's Family Keyworker Service
Barnardo's Family Keyworker Service caters for children with complex disabilities and healthcare needs and their families within the Foyle Trust area, which includes Dungiven, Limavady, Derry/Londonderry, Strabane and the surrounding areas.
Who is the service for?
The service is for families of disabled children who
- are aged between 0-18 years
- live in the Foyle Trust area
- receive at least two specialist services or therapies to meet their needs.
If you think this service is for you, talk to any of these people:
- Child Development Clinic (CDC) / Little Acorns
- the physical disability team
- a health visitor
- the learning disability team
- a community children’s nurse, who will help you to fill in a referral form
- alternatively you can refer yourself by contacting us at our office and we will be happy to help.
We will then arrange for a keyworker to visit your home at a time and date that will suit you to introduce themselves and discuss with you what sort of help and support you require.
