Gifts in Wills Events

Barnardo's runs local events around the country. Each event is designed to inform supporters about Barnardo's heritage and work with vulnerable children and young people today, through inspiring personal presentations.

Come and find out about Barnardo's and how your support can make a huge difference. Staff will be on hand to talk with you about how your time and skills could help Barnardo's fundraise in your local community and how leaving a gift in your Will can help our work continue into the future.

It is thanks to the generous terms offered by the venues that the events are able to take place. Barnardo's would like to express sincere thanks to the venues for the terms offered. All events are free of charge to attend and there will not be any pressure to support Barnardo's.

The event will include talks from Mo Harris, a former Barnardo's resident, Michael Hammond, the Children’s Service Manager from Somerset Play and Participation service and a representative from our local legal partners

QualitySolicitors Gould and Swayne

Presentations will commence at 11.00am and will be followed by a complimentary buffet lunch at ca. 12.30pm. Free access to museum is available afterwards to all attendees.

The event will include talks from Derek Yates, a former Barnardo's resident, Kathy Thomas Children’s Services Manager of the Sherwood Project and a representative from our local legal partners QualitySolicitors Yates & Co.

Presentations will commence at 11.00am and will be followed by a complimentary buffet lunch at ca. 12.30pm. Free access to the grounds of the Hall is available to all attendees after lunch.
