Gifts in Wills Events

Barnardo's runs local events around the country. Each event is designed to inform supporters about Barnardo's heritage and work with vulnerable children and young people today, through inspiring personal presentations.

Come and find out about Barnardo's and how your support can make a huge difference. Staff will be on hand to talk with you about how your time and skills could help Barnardo's fundraise in your local community and how leaving a gift in your Will can help our work continue into the future.

Concorde Suit (Conference Centre) Duxford Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridgeshire CB22 4QR

Wednesday 19 April 2017

10.30am (11am start) until 2pm, including a complimentary buffet lunch & free access for attendees to the museum

Find out more about Barnardo’s heritage and current work with vulnerable children and young people in the South East and throughout the UK.

The event will include talks from Mary Godfrey, a lady raised in Barnardo's care, as well as a staff member from the Barnardo's Children's Centre in Hertfordshire which supports families with children under five years old with a huge array of services.

Come and find out how you can support Barnardo’s.

Staff will be on hand to speak with you about how your time and skills could help Barnardo’s fundraise in your local community and explain how leaving a gift in your Will can help our work continue into the future.

The event will include talks from John Spencer a gentleman who was raised in Barnardo's care, a staff member from Barnardo's Chilston Children's Centre which supports children & young people with complex learning disabilities. You will also hear from Barnardo's local legal partners:

The event will include talks from Mo Harris, a lady raised in Barnardo's care and Carole Banton, Barnardo's Children's Services Manager for PAN Dorset CSE (child sexual expolitation) and Missing Service will also speak.
