Gifts in Wills

Gifts in Wills are our lifeblood. Without them we simply couldn’t help all the children we do. Almost half the income given to us by the public comes from gifts in Wills. By leaving a gift in your Will to Barnardo’s you can make a lasting difference.
You can help children like Cara at Barnardo’s High Close School, which is often a last hope when mainstream schools fail to help.
We are enormously grateful for every gift we receive – whatever its type or amount. Each person who remembers our work in their Will becomes part of our rich history and, most importantly, our future.
Many supporters choose to leave a 'Residuary' gift in their Will. This is a share of the remainder or ‘residue’ of their estate when all other gifts and payments have been made.
If you are considering including a gift to Barnardo’s in your Will but you are concerned about the cost of having your Will drawn up by a solicitor, our free Will offer is for you.
Find out more about Barnardo’s work by watching our Gifts in Wills DVD. Children like Mariella and Chanel face hardships such as caring for a disabled parent and poverty. Hear their stories on our free DVD The Future of our children is in your Hands and see why gifts in Wills are so vital to Barnardo’s children.
