Donate your spare change
Through giving your own small change or by having a collecting box into which others can donate you can help us raise £600,000 and more in future years. Every penny really does count, with 94p in every pound raised going directly to our work with children and young people.
The boxes come in 3 designs as you will see below, and are suitable for use either at home or in small retail outlets such as local shops, garden centres or cafes.
The B Box
By having one of our new interactive B Boxes in your business or workplace you and your customers or colleagues can start making a difference to the lives of children and young people right now!
This new box has been specially designed to appeal to children. It is visually appealing with its brightly coloured design, with both children and adults alike being fascinated by the way the coins drop round the letter B to land with a satisfying 'ping' as they reach the base! It is the ideal size and shape to sit snugly on a shop counter.
The Poly Box
The Poly Box is a similar size to the B Box and is immediately recognisable by its familiar Barnardo's branding and colour. It is amazing how much money can be raised in these boxes. They are made of an extremely durable plastic and they are suitable for almost any venue.
The Home Collection Box (HCB)
Join the Barnardo's Small Silver Appeal and place a collecting box in your home or on your desk - you'll be amazed at how quickly your small change soon adds up! The box raises an average of £12 - this could pay for a group therapy session for a young and vulnerable child, an emergency wash and personal care kit for a young person who is homeless or it could pay for toys and games for play therapy sessions for a child who has been abused.
