I want to support Barnardo’s
Thank you for your interest in our work. We rely on the support of people like you in a number of ways. The main ways in which you can help are:
By donating
For example, you could give a monthly gift by Direct Debit. This type of giving is invaluable to us because it provides a regular source of income, meaning we can continue to offer long-term solutions to the UK’s most vulnerable children and young people. The average gift given in this way is around £7 a month but you can give whatever you like. Of course, there are a number of other ways to donate, including organising collections or leaving a gift in your will. Or you can donate goods to your local shop. Click for more information
By giving your time
There are lots of opportunities for people with sufficient time available to volunteer for Barnardo’s. You could help in one of our shops, or help fundraise in your local community, or even at one of our community projects that provide services to children and their families. Click for more information
By campaigning
Increasingly, we are looking for members of the public to add their voice to ours so we can influence policy to make this a better world for children and young people. You could lend your support to our End Child Poverty campaign, or write a letter to your MP about a particular issue affecting children in your area and across the UK. Click for more information
By supporting us in school
We are always looking for supportive teachers and pupils who may be able to help us by encouraging their school to undertake a fundraising activity. Click for more information
By entering our Prize Draws
How would you like to win £5,000? Talking of big numbers, how about 100,000?
That’s the number of children we help each year. You can help us to help them by entering into our Prize Draw – you stand a chance of winning one of 12 great cash prizes consisting of £5,000 £1,500 or 10 prizes of £100. Click to find out how
