Spring Hill School Announces 0% Fee Increase for 2012/2013 and Offers a Discount Scheme for Multiple Placements from Individual Authorities

Barnardo’s Spring Hill School announces that it will be applying a 0% increase to its fees in April 2012.

This is the result of a combination of months of consultations, and the development and enhancement of closer working relationships between Barnardo’s and Local Authority Partners.

Spring Hill was able to take these positive and welcome measures, after recently working with a number of Local Authorities to explore ways of working together to help reduce costs.

Steve Oversby, Barnardo’s Director of Children's Services for Yorkshire and Humberside commented

I am confident that this decision will be welcomed by authorities across the UK, who are continuing to be find themselves under increasing pressure to reduce spending in any way possible."

He went on to add:

As one of the UK’s leading Children’s Charities, Barnardo’s is committed to providing the highest possible quality of services to all the children and young people we work with, whilst exploring any ways possible to help Local Authority Partners to achieve their challenging targets and goals.
On top of a 0% fee increase, Spring Hill confirmed that it will continue to offer Local Authorities an opportunity to receive discounts of between 2% and 4% off standard fees.
