We support a number of campaigns in coalition with other organisations including The Robin Hood Tax and the End Child Poverty campaign.
The Robin Hood Tax campaign
The Robin Hood Tax is a tiny tax of 0.05% from international bankers’ transactions that could generate hundreds of billions of pounds every year to stop cuts in crucial public services and help to end child poverty in the UK as well as contributing to the fight against global poverty and climate change.
At Barnardo’s we believe this tax would be the fairest way to ensure that our government has enough money to tackle the outrage of poverty and inequality within our society, which continues to blight the lives of far too many innocent children.

End child poverty campaign
Barnardo’s is a member of the Campaign to End Child Poverty.
The Campaign to End Child Poverty is a coalition of more than 130 organisations working to eradicate child poverty in the UK.
It is formed from children's charities and other charities, social justice groups, faith-groups, trade unions and others concerned about the unacceptably high levels of child poverty in the UK.
