Join our team
We need to recruit a broad range of adoptive parents and foster carers from across Wales. We recognise the importance of gradual introductions for children and carers/adopters to ensure that the placement is successful.
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming a carer or adoptive parent or would like more information. Please feel free to contact us for an informal discussion.
Adoptive parents
We require adoptive parents for sibling groups and single children. Working as part of a committed and experienced team, you will receive an excellent package of support, which includes:
- comprehensive training and specialist advice
- excellent matching and linking procedures
- excellent post placement support.
Foster carers
We require long term and short break foster carers for a broad range of children and young people. We have a successful history of finding carers for children and young people who are considered more difficult to place. Working as part of a committed and experienced team, you will receive an excellent package of support, which includes:
- comprehensive training and specialist advice
- excellent one-to-one and group support
- a fostering allowance
- 24 hour on call service.
Short break carers (Amser Ni)
We need carers to provide overnight, weekend or holiday care to disabled children and their families from across North Wales.
Short breaks provide the opportunity for disabled children and young people to enjoy new family experiences and develop relationships beyond the family. At the same time, the other family members also benefit from the time apart and have the opportunity to recharge their batteries.
Working as part of a committed and experienced team, you will receive an excellent package of support which includes:
- comprehensive training and specialist advice
- regular supervision
- 24 hour support
- an allowance to cover expenses.
