Commission Children's Services: North West
Barnardo's in the North West helps more than 21,000 children, young people and their families. We run community-based services across the North West, providing practical, positive and family-centred solutions.
In particular we:
- create opportunities for young people not in education, employment or training (NEET)
- reduce the risk of abuse, domestic violence and anti-social behaviour
- improve outcomes for looked after children
- provide effective family support for vulnerable children, young people and their families
- reduce the number of children entering the care system
- achieve positive outcomes for families with mental health and emotional well being issues.
We also have extensive experience of working in partnership with commissioning agencies to offer mutual benefits and tailored services aimed at achieving each of the Every Child Matters outcomes.
