Barnardo's Chilston Project - helping families and children affected by sexual abuse, giving support and training to professionals involved in this area of care in the South East.

Barnardo’s Chilston Project has been established now for over 20 years, making us one of the most experienced specialist resources in the UK in the assessment and treatment of harmful sexual behaviours.

We work from our base in Tunbridge Wells and provide a welcoming, safe and nurturing environment for children, young people and their carers to explore and resolve the issues which might be affecting them or others because of someone’s sexual behaviour.

Training and Consultation Services

We are also happy to provide training and consultation on any aspect of our work and can often offer student placements and clinical attachments to professionals who wish to develop their existing skills in work with children and families where sexual abuse is an issue.
