Barnardo's Cheshire Service

Barnardo’s Cheshire Service provides an independent accessible advocacy service for children and young people in the Cheshire East local authority area. The Scheme is one of 3 Barnardo’s rights based Advocacy services in the North West.

We will provide an advocate to any child or young person who wishes to use the service who is known to Social Care in Cheshire East, or who is in the care of the local authority. The advocate will act as a representative and offer a way for the child or young person to express their views. Information will be provided to enable the child or young person to make informed choices about their life and play a greater part in making decisions which affect them.
