Fundraising for your Challenge event

Challenge events are a fantastic, active way of supporting Barnardo's work, allowing you to experience the world's most famous running events, feel the exhilaration of a skydive or travel to far off lands for a once in a lifetime adventure.

Training for your challenge will take up a lot of your time and energy and you will need to fundraise as well. A lot of our participants tell us that the fundraising is just as hard as the challenge itself.
These pages are designed to help you with that side of things: whether you have got a minimum sponsorship target to meet or you are simply trying to raise as much as you can.

Fundraising support

From the day you sign up, we will be on hand to support you and to provide you with fundraising tips and advice.
We have got loads of resources to get you started, including our fundraising guide, information on Gift Aid, fundraising guidelines, example press releases and fundraising resources such as sponsorship forms, collection tins and posters and balloons for your fundraising events.

Fundraise online

If you want to fundraise online (and we recommend that you do), you can set up your very own fundraising page - upload your picture, write some text about what you're doing and why, set your fundraising target and then send the link out to your friends, family and colleagues so that they can sponsor you easily and securely.

As well as allowing you to collect sponsorship from people you don't see every day, all money donated via an online fundraising site is collected straight away and transferred to Barnardo's, so you don't have to worry about collecting the money in and getting it to us safely.
