Cairn Gorm Mountain
Cairn Gorm Mountain is owned by Highlands & Islands Enterprise, and the estate covers 1400 hectares and neighbours with RSPB and Rothiemurchus. Whilst the mountain is well known as a winter sports centre, more recently the funicular has provided all year round access to the Ptarmigan Restaurant near the summit. At 1245m, Cairn Gorm Mountain is Scotland's sixth highest mountain.
