A. No, not unless the mother was under 18 and the child had a disability or long term illness.

Q. Do you provide alternative care when the young person is out with Bradford young carers?
A. No, but we would do our best to help the family find this kind of support if it was needed.

Q. How do I get to Bradford Young Carers Service?
A. Bradford young carers provides door to door transport for almost every activity.

Q. How do you assess the level of need?
A. This is done through separate assessments completed with the young person and the parent. These then inform a support package which is shared and agreed with the parent and child. These are reviewed at least every six months.
