Fundraising tips

There are loads of great ways to zap your fundraising target. Here are a few favourites:

• Set up an online fundraising page. It’s the easiest, safest and quickest way for sponsors to give.
• Set yourself a target, tell people and smash it!
• Get close friends and family to donate generously at the beginning. It will encourage others to do the same.
• Collect the money straight away. This will save you chasing afterwards.
• If you’re on Facebook or Twitter why not tell all your friends and family about your Toddle? Remember to include a link to your fundraising page.
• Get your colleagues, clients and your company to sponsor your child. Many employers will match any money their employees raise for charity. Will yours?
• Tell the local press about your Toddle using our press release. You could even provide a link to your fundraising page and encourage the public to help you meet your target.
• Raise a quarter extra by getting sponsors who are UK taxpayers to tick the gift aid box. This will give us an extra 25p for every £1 you raise.
• If you really want to smash your target, add on an extra fundraising event like a superhero-themed cake sale, quiz night or fancy dress party.

Remember to say a massive ‘thank you’ to everyone who donates!
