Parents To Be

In partnership with Connexions and Lambeth Council the BabyFather Initiative introduces ‘Parents To Be’. This 10 week programme aimed at young people (aged 16-19 years old) who are becoming parents.

Safe and confidential the programme will aim to equip and support first time parents with the skills and tools that are need to achieve good parenting and ensure the best start in life for their children.

The programme will cover the following key issues:

  • Relationships
  • The Law
  • Money
  • Practical Skills on how to keep your home and your child safe

To deliver this programme we will be providing workshops supported by tailored one to one support to the young people. We will also be providing diversionary activities.

Young people will be referred to the programme through Connexions. To register and to find out more pleas see below for contact details.
