BabyFather Initiative - The Fatherhood Program (FP)
The BabyFather Initiative has now launched its new Training and Consultancy Service. It is the culmination of a series of discussions we have held throughout the UK with fathers and social care practitioners.
"Meeting with other fathers empowered me to go forward and not accept what was happening without a fight."
- The Fatherhood Program (FP)
This program for fathers offers training in areas including relationships, communication and child development . This program also has an educational component supported by the Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network, (ASDAN) offering fathers the opportunity to gain evidence toward key/basic skills in reading and writing. - The African Caribbean Fatherhood Program (ACFP)
The only one of its kind in the UK and is designed to meet the cultural sensitivities of African Carribean men, fathers and male carers and other BME groups. It is an accredited parenting program.
