What we do
What does Barnardo’s ARCH Project offer?
Work with children
Individual work - 12 week programme based around the six domains of resilience using a variety of resources and age appropriate materials. Each child is allocated a key worker.
Group work - school based programme focussing on the six domains of resilience. The group work can also be delivered in other settings. Regular consultation meetings with children involved in the service are also held.
Activities – children’s activities and workshops designed to build on and reinforce the work done on an individual basis or in a group.
Work with parents
- information distributed to parents/carers about emotional resilience and related parenting issues
- individually tailored parenting support
- parenting groups and workshops
- family events and activities.
We can work with you and your child :
- in school
- at your home
- at our friendly centre in Nechells.
We are very flexible in our work, meaning that usually we can make arrangements based on when and where the client family wants to work (subject to our availability).
All this means that if you qualify for our criteria then there should be no reason, if we have enough space, that we can’t work with you.
