Barnardo's Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Service

Barnardo's has developed a range of services for families of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and for professionals working with children and young people with ADHD.

ADHD is a lifelong condition that has three core symptoms:

• inattention
• impulsivity
• hyperactivity

Children and young people with ADHD typically have difficulties in many areas of their lives including at school and making friends.

However, Barnardo's believes that with the right support these children and young people can be helped to fulfil their potential.
